Stephanie Saw, PMHNP-BC
She/Her
Welcome to Introspection Counseling Center. My name is Stephanie Saw, and I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized psychiatric medication management services to individuals in Wilmington, Delaware. Whether you are looking for in-person medication management services or prefer the flexibility of telepsychiatry and online medication management, I am here to support you on your journey toward better mental health.
I believe that healing begins with meeting people exactly where they are. We are all works in progress—myself included—and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside individuals as they strive for growth, peace, and fulfillment. I find my own sense of joy and purpose in helping others discover theirs.
My passion for mental health care stems from a deep belief that every person has the capacity to live a balanced and fulfilling life. Sometimes, getting there requires the right combination of emotional support and effective psychiatric medication management. That’s where I come in. I work to create an affirming, respectful, and safe space where you can explore your concerns, understand your symptoms, and feel confident in your treatment plan.

Providing In-Person and Online Medication management in Delaware and surrounding areas.
Medication Management Treatment Specialities
In my practice, I specialize in medication management services for a range of mental health conditions. Many of my clients come to me seeking relief from overwhelming emotions, disruptive behaviors, and persistent mental health struggles. If you’re dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, or substance use disorder, I’m here to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
Telepsychiatry and Online Medication Management: For clients who prefer or need virtual care, I offer secure and accessible online psychiatric medication management services. Telepsychiatry allows us to stay connected and consistent in your treatment, regardless of where you are physically.
In-Person Medication Management Services: For those who prefer face-to-face interaction, I also offer in-person appointments in Wilmington, Delaware, where we can meet in a safe, welcoming clinical setting and collaborate closely on your medication and overall mental health goals.
Some of the conditions I commonly treat include:
-
Anxiety Disorders
Whether you’re living with generalized anxiety, social anxiety, or panic attacks, I provide psychiatric medication management options that can reduce excessive worry, improve daily functioning, and bring you a sense of calm.
-
Depression
If you’re experiencing persistent sadness, hopelessness, low energy, or a lack of motivation, you may benefit from a comprehensive medication plan to help regulate mood and restore emotional balance.
-
Trauma
Experiencing trauma—whether from childhood, relationships, or other life events—can leave long-lasting effects on your mental health. I take a trauma-informed approach to treatment, helping clients manage symptoms of post-traumatic stress and emotional dysregulation through supportive, structured care.
-
Substance Use Disorders
Addiction is complex, but healing is possible. I offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) when appropriate, paired with an empathetic, nonjudgmental approach to care. Whether you’re in early recovery or need help managing cravings and triggers, I will walk with you every step of the way.
My approach is holistic and individualized. I understand that no two people are the same—each person’s story, symptoms, and life context are different. That’s why I build treatment plans that are customized, flexible, and grounded in both evidence-based practices and genuine connection.
Our Work Together
When you work with me, you can expect a partnership built on trust, respect, and mutual understanding. I am committed to creating a therapeutic relationship where you feel protected, heard, and never judged. You deserve to feel safe when sharing your story, and I work hard to ensure that every session reflects that level of care.
Our first step will be to conduct a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. We’ll discuss your symptoms, mental health history, lifestyle, and personal goals. From there, we’ll co-create a treatment plan that may include psychiatric medications, self-care practices, and collaboration with other providers or therapists to ensure holistic support.
I’ll explain all of your medication options clearly and answer your questions every step of the way. As your symptoms change, we’ll adapt your treatment plan accordingly, always prioritizing what works best for your life and goals. Progress in mental health is not always linear—but with patience, persistence, and professional support, healing is absolutely possible.
You can expect to gain:
Relief from intense emotional symptoms
Greater understanding of how your mental health conditions affect your life
Practical tools for managing stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma
Increased self-confidence and emotional resilience
A strong, respectful therapeutic relationship centered on your needs
