He/Him
Welcome to Introspection Counseling Center. My name is Glen Pittman, and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and experienced behavioral health professional offering in-person and online counseling to individuals and families in Wilmington, Delaware.
I am a God-fearing man who believes in giving more than receiving. Described as kind, genuine, caring, and trustworthy, I strive to serve with sincerity and compassion in everything I do. With over 20 years of experience in clinical mental health settings, I bring a grounded, faith-informed, and solution-focused approach to the therapeutic process.
My work is rooted in the belief that we are each created with unique strengths and untapped potential. I see therapy as a sacred space for reflection, growth, and healing. My mission is to walk beside you as you build a stronger foundation—emotionally, mentally, and spiritually—to accomplish your goals in life. Whether you’re navigating emotional distress or simply trying to become your best self, I’ll provide a steady hand and an open heart.
Providing services in the state of Delaware.
Specialities
I specialize in working with individuals who are seeking both emotional healing and personal transformation. My clinical background spans a wide range of settings—from hospitals and intensive outpatient programs to family therapy and adolescent services. This extensive experience enables me to support a diverse group of clients and tailor my counseling approach to meet your unique needs.
My ideal client is someone who is thoughtful, consistent, and willing to explore different approaches to change. You might be experiencing:
Anxiety – Constant worry, overthinking, restlessness, or difficulty concentrating. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands or burdened by uncertainty, I provide tools to help you manage anxiety and reclaim calm.
Depression – Feeling stuck, sad, fatigued, or unmotivated? Depression can impact every area of life. Together, we’ll work to understand the root causes and develop a personalized, strength-based approach to healing.
Anger – Struggles with irritability, outbursts, or suppressed rage can damage relationships and self-esteem. I help clients develop healthier ways to express and manage their emotions.
Christian Counseling – For clients who desire a spiritual approach, I offer faith-based counseling grounded in Biblical principles. My work integrates scripture, prayer (if desired), and therapeutic tools to support holistic healing—mind, body, and spirit.
Online Counseling – I understand that life is busy and that accessing therapy should be simple and stress-free. I provide secure, HIPAA-compliant online counseling services to individuals across Delaware who prefer the convenience of virtual care.
Family and Adolescent Counseling – Drawing from my experience in schools, hospitals, and family-based programs, I help young people and parents navigate developmental challenges, behavior concerns, and communication breakdowns.
Group Counseling – My background includes group therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Whether focused on substance use, anger management, or emotional regulation, I know how to foster group spaces that are supportive and transformative.
With a Master’s in Education Counseling from Wilmington University and certifications in Alcohol and Drug Counseling and Applied Behavior Analysis, I offer a wide clinical lens that addresses both emotional challenges and behavioral patterns. I bring empathy, wisdom, and a deep commitment to excellence in every client relationship.
Our Work Together
Therapy with me is about more than just problem-solving—it’s about building a strong foundation for your life. Whether you’re feeling emotionally overwhelmed, spiritually disconnected, or simply seeking clarity and direction, our work will be structured around your goals, values, and strengths.
We’ll begin with a comprehensive assessment of your needs. From there, we’ll co-create a customized treatment plan that includes obtainable, meaningful objectives. My approach is relational, structured, and solution-focused. You’ll receive honest guidance, consistent encouragement, and practical tools for making real progress.
During our sessions, you can expect to:
Feel heard, respected, and safe in a judgment-free environment
Explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences with honesty and compassion
Identify thought patterns and behaviors that may be holding you back
Develop personalized coping strategies for stress, anger, anxiety, or depression
Build emotional resilience and stronger self-awareness
Discover purpose and deeper meaning through faith-integrated dialogue (for those interested)
Strengthen your relationships—starting with the one you have with yourself
Whether we are meeting in person in Wilmington or through online counseling, my commitment to your growth and healing remains the same. Therapy is not always easy, but with consistency and courage, it can lead to profound transformation.
I often tell my clients: “We’re not just here to cope—we’re here to grow.” Together, we’ll take meaningful steps forward toward peace, confidence, and clarity.
If you’re looking for a counselor who brings kindness, structure, Christian values, and real-life experience into the therapy room, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
