Brittney Brinson, LCMHC

She/Her/Hers

Serving the population as a caring and compassionate Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor is my passion and purpose. I find great reward in assisting others with realizing their true worth and reaching their fullest potential. I approach my work as a therapist through the lens of Lena Horne’s quote “It's not the load that breaks you own, it’s the way you carry it.”

Providing services in the state of North Carolina and Delaware.

Specialities

My clients often struggle with anxiety, depression, childhood/adulthood trauma, interpersonal violence, rape, sexual assault, grief and loss, mood disorders, or life transitions such as divorce. If you are willing to work and be challenged, we would make a great match. With an open mind and open heart, you will experience personal growth within the supportive and safe atmosphere that we will collaboratively create.

Our Work Together

I often utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to assist you with identifying the triggers and signs of your past that impact you today. We will work to implement strategies, such as coping and relaxation skills to manage your mental and emotional concerns. I focus on building rapport and treating the process as a collaboration. Simultaneously, I approach the therapeutic process with your unique needs in mind.

You can expect to be challenged with empathy in addition to exploring self-actualization. I strive to aid you in regaining courage, self-confidence, and personal power.
